Recognition Comes To Abby Creek Studios' Linda O'Neill EBSQ Featured Artist and National Exhibits For Immediate Release BOULDER, Colo./EWORLDWIRE/Sep. 14, 2005 --- On-line artist community EBSQ Art (www.ebsqart.com) has selected Linda O'Neill as its September featured artist. Additionally, two national juried art shows have accepted paintings by Linda O'Neill - The Art Center of Estes Park, Colorado and The Arkansas Pastel Society in Little Rock, Arkansas. Linda O'Neill is the artist-owner of Abby Creek Studios (www.AbbyCreekStudios.com) located just outside of Boulder, Colorado. She specializes in custom dog portraits but also works in fine art media creating still life and abstract art. It is particularly significant that this current recognition is for her non-commercial creations rather than her portraits which have a wide following among dog lovers throughout the country. An abstract acrylic painting titled "Release 2" will be on display at the Art Center of Estes Park from September 14 through October 8. The theme of this show is "Lines into Shapes" and features a wide variety of work both abstract and representational from artists located throughout the United States. The Arkansas Pastel Society selected two of Linda's still life works for their 2005 show "Catching the Light": "Santa Fe Pots" and "Blue Bowl with Pears". This show runs from October 20 through November 20, with an opening reception and award ceremony on October 20. The show is located at the Arkansas Art Center Community Gallery in Little Rock. Linda O'Neill is the artist-owner of Abby Creek Studios specializing in custom Dog Portraits on a commission basis. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Dominican University in San Rafael, California. Prior to forming her own studio, she was a digital painter for Industrial Light + Magic, a division of LucasFilm.
