My paintings are created using the finest grade acrylic paints. They are painted on 1.5” deep stretched boxed canvas. The sides are painted black so the canvas is ready for presentation; framing isn't necessary. If you prefer to frame your painting, you can request a .5” deep canvas.
To begin a painting, a good photograph of your dog is essential. The photo should be a close-up, as sharp as possible and with good eye detail. You can email me a high resolution photo at 300dpi or mail your photo which I will scan and return to you.
You can request a particular background for your painting or leave it up to me to create something for you. I prefer to create the background as the painting is developing, but I will work to accommodate your wishes. If there is an object such as a ball that your dog is fond of, I am happy to incorporate that into the artwork as well.
After the painting is complete, I will email you a digital photo of it. You can request any minor changes at that point. Upon your final approval, the painting will then be varnished for protection and prepared for shipping. Payment is then due and accepted by check or with a credit card through PayPal.
