about linda

Linda O'Neill is a formally trained artist who has worked in a wide variety of mediums including photography, digital art, printmaking and painting. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where she earned her BFA in Printmaking and was a Digital Painter for Lucasfilm's Industrial Light + Magic.

Over the past decade she has pursued her career in fine art, developing her style in both abstract and representational paintings. Her work is marked by bold uses of color, shapes and patterns but they also maintain an ethereal quality about them.

Her studio near Boulder Colorado is named after Abby, a beloved Retriever Mix who passed away in the spring of 2007. Her new studio partner Maisie, an adorable Dutch Shepherd, now adds much appreciated comic relief as only a dog can do.

Linda has developed a loyal following of her paintings. Her work hangs in private collections throughout the United States and Abroad. She has received many accolades including publication

in the “Best of American Artists” book series and National Juried Art Competitions in California, Oregon, Colorado, Chicago and Arkansas. She has also been featured in numerous publications including USA Today, San Diego Style, Orange County Magazine and the Boulder Daily Camera.
